Jack's Reasons For Running

We need a new kind of campaign for public office, one based on a healthy public debate about new directions and better ways of doing the things that a Town government must do. We need political debate marked by civility and respect, not personal attacks and mudslinging. We need a Town government that is open to new ideas, transparent and accountable, not one that recycles the failed policies of the past, ignores the views of residents, and refuses to accept responsibility for its actions.

The Supervisor is one member of the Town Board but has additional responsibilities as the Chief Financial Officer and manager of the day-to-day operations of Town government. This position requires its holder to set a standard for ethical conduct and public accountability that others will follow. It’s a position that requires a leader, not a politician. I want to give something back to the community that has meant so much to me and my family. I’m running for Supervisor to bring a new way of thinking about the role of Town Government in the life of our community, and to show how much can be accomplished when we work together to serve the public interest.

East Greenbush First

I’m running with Tina Tierney and Tom Grant because they also believe that the way we approach politics and government must change. We offer a real chance for change and a new way of governing. None of us are politicians, nor are we seeking careers in politics. We will put the public interest first. We will give our Town government back to the people of East Greenbush. We will put East Greenbush first!
